About Jay Burns
Professor Jay C. Burns a Detroit native composer, author, musical theater director, business communications teacher and jazz musician. Taught at Wayne County Community College classes included voice coaching, piano, musical theatre, music theory, interpersonal communications, business plan development, entrepreneurship and grant writing workshops for Non- Profit Organizations.Â
Worked closely with former Mayor Dennis Archer. My consulting team was responsible for procurement of the $100,000,000 dollars for Detroit Empowerment Zone. Published poetry book titled " Reflections of Love From Then to Now", which is being used in the Creative Writing Classes at Langston Hughes University University, Lincoln University, Wilberforce University, and Lang College College. Education double Masters Degree from Wayne State University in Fine Arts and Business Communications.
